Hannah & Sean - Jackson, NH

Oh my, what a wedding, what a SNOWSTORM! Hannah and Sean wished for snow on their wedding day and boy did they get it. I told this story on Instagram, but I think it’s worth telling here on the blog because it still makes me smile. When Hannah reached out about their original wedding date, I was booked and so bummed! I had followed Hannah on Instagram through mutual friends and I loved how adventurous this couple was. Then, she asked if March 23rd was open and said they would switch their date. I was shocked, but of course I said yes! I worried - what if their original date came and it was the perfect winter snowstorm they dreamt of? What if it poured on the 23rd? I’d feel so terrible. But they trusted it and changed their date so I could capture it.. which is the greatest honor. Turns out it was meant to be because Jackson, New Hampshire received about 2 feet of snow that weekend and it was the snowiest wedding of my entire career. It truly felt like a movie! Sometimes things just work out. Thank you Hannah and Sean for being up for snowy portraits, for trusting me to tell your love story, and for bringing me back to a place in the White Mountains that means so much to me. I will never, ever forget this day.

Enjoy this blog preview of their day! Can’t wait to share the rest!
